Start of S6/VSR2

After the upgrade of LIGO to “enhanced LIGO” a new long-term science run has been started on July 7, together with the Virgo detector. It is called S6/VSR2 and will last for about one year. At the end of July, the GEO-HF upgrade program has been started. Because this comprises several modules, after each successful installation GEO will join the S6 run for some weeks.
