The distributed computing project Einstein@Home is to anayse data from the gravitational wave detectors within the LVC. It also searches for puslars in radio data from the Arecibo Telesope in Puerto Rico. Volunteers all over the world donate idle computing time of their PCs to this project. Got interested?
